Microsoft Awards Sharon Sumner Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award for 2020

We are delighted to announce that our CEO, Sharon Sumner has been the recipient of Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professional (MVP) Award for 2020 in the Business Applications Category. This is her first Microsoft MVP award and has motivated her further to contribute to the Microsoft community and find new opportunities within this industry.

“When your entire career is dedicated to working on Microsoft platforms (the past 20 years) & helping others achieve more, there is no better feeling than being awarded as a Microsoft MVP”

Sharon Sumner

Who are MVP’s?

Microsoft’s Most Valuable Professionals (MVP’s) are technology experts that have a very deep knowledge of Microsoft products and services, while also being able to bring together diverse platforms, products and solutions; to solve real world problems. They passionately share with the community and are always willing to help others. They make up a global community of over 4,000 technical experts and community leaders spanning across 90 countries/regions. Within the UK, there are less than 200 MVP’s and only 22 in Sharon’s category. This puts her in a great position, not only nationally but globally as well.

What is the MVP Award?

According to Microsoft: The Microsoft MVP Award is a unique opportunity to honour technology experts who have shown a deep commitment to innovation and have made outstanding contributions to their communities. Microsoft MVP Award recognizes exceptional community leadership for those who are passionate about technology and have great community spirit. The contributions MVPs make to the community can range from creating content, speaking engagements, organising events, to writing books, to helping others in online communities.

In his own words:
“ We could not be successful without such an incredibly valuable and engaged group of people working with us.” Brian Harry, Microsoft Corporate Vice President.

We would like to congratulate all the New MVP’s, extremely well deserved!
