Microsoft Teams 145 million daily active users

By 28th April 2021 No Comments

Microsoft Teams usage has jumped during the pandemic with 145 million people now using the Teams app. This is further building on the reported 115 million daily active users in October 2020 and an increase of 26%.

This growth reflects the changes in the way organisations have been forced to work due to the pandemic, finding ways to keep communicating with remote workers and for teams to work collaboratively away from the traditional office environment. MS Teams has really stepped up to help bridge this gap and to help organisations stay agile and resilient in these worrying times.

Teams is no longer just a way to chat with others, people are working in Teams all day and using it as a real hub, bringing together meetings, chat, calls, collaboration, third-party apps, and business processes into a single user-friendly experience.

It is clear to see that Teams and Microsoft 365 have been an essential lifeline in helping organisations not just survive the pandemic but thrive. In this new world of work, it is exciting to see how the power of the cloud can help us all and power the new digital age. If you need to chat through any plans or challenges you are currently facing with Teams or Microsoft 365 adoption contact us for a free no obligation chat.
