The Microsoft Partner Network’s promise to its partners, enabling improved client relations

By 8th April 2022 No Comments

Over 400,000 worldwide companies make up the Microsoft Partner Network and these companies are vital to how Microsoft creates and distributes its latest services and products to its customers. This profound 30-year connection between Microsoft and its partners has resulted in these companies delivering some of the most exclusive solutions for various industries, assisting numerous clients to grow and keep up with the never-ending changes.

Microsoft’s partners went above and beyond over the last couple of years by being a vital part of helping clients and businesses adjust during the Covid-19 pandemic. Therefore, Microsoft is committed to advancing and providing anything their partners need to modernize, expand, and deliver on their pledge to digitally revolutionise their clients.

To make sure they keep on supporting partners (and their clients), Microsoft has centred on three key areas:

  • Reinforcing their digital ability. Microsoft is supplying well-defined strategies and sources for partners across digital experiences to help steer solutions that can be simply and collaboratively designed.
  • Strengthening partner technical resources. Microsoft is training partners to improve on and meet their clients’ needs by investing in their joint expertise. They are assisting their partners on this journey by supporting them to achieve strong technical training and advanced specializations across the areas of need.
  • Simplifying engagement between Microsoft and partners. Microsoft is distributing more possibilities and improving the commercial marketplace as well as the Partner Centre, allowing for partners to connect with them easier, gaining benefits quicker.

The next step

As part of Microsoft’s investment in the cloud as a developed tool for modernisation and evolution, whilst highlighting their constant promise to their partners, they have announced that from October 2022, Microsoft would rename the Microsoft Partner Network to ‘The Microsoft Cloud Partner Program.’

This declaration, however, is not just about a name change, it is much more. It is about highlighting the massive and continuing move of businesses to the cloud, and how they plan to support their partners in the future.

The Microsoft Cloud Partner Program is for all partners, no matter if they create and sell services, software solutions, or devices, and is focused on the competency of six key areas associated with the Cloud:

  • Data & AI (Azure)
  • Security
  • Business Applications
